 Solicitors qualifying exam introduced 

Today's Wills & Probate reports on the introduction of the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE). 

Law Society president I. Stephanie Boyce said: "This new system has the potential to further the legal sector's desire to widen diversity and inclusion and positively affect social mobility."

Nationality and Borders Bill 

BBC Parliament covered a Scottish Parliament discussion about the Nationality and Borders Bill which referenced the Law Society saying 'even the Law Society of England and Wales scarcely a band of dangerous radicals says that this bill would undermine access to justice and undermine the rule of law'.
 

New committee member appointed 

Today's Wills & Probate reports that the Institute of Legacy Management director, Blerta Clubb, has joined our wills and equity committee.
