Yorkshire Law Society Charity Walk Brings Legal Community Together for Local Charities
Around 50 people from across York and North Yorkshire's legal and advice sectors came together on Wednesday evening for the Yorkshire Law Society Charity Walk, raising funds for local charities despite temperatures reaching more than 28°C.
The event saw colleagues from a number of organisations across the region take part in an evening walk through York, followed by refreshments and an opportunity to catch up with fellow professionals from across the legal community.
Participants included representatives from Crombie Wilkinson Solicitors, Harrowells Solicitors, Ware & Kay Solicitors, Ramsdens Solicitors, Andrew Jackson Solicitors, the National Legal Service and North Yorkshire Citizens Advice & Law Centre, demonstrating the strong support for the event from across the region.
Funds raised from the walk will support York Citizens Advice, North Yorkshire Citizens Advice & Law Centre and York Music Hub, the Yorkshire Law Society President's nominated charity for the year. The Yorkshire Law Society Charity Walk forms part of the Society's ongoing commitment to supporting local causes while fostering connections across the profession.
